About Slava Fine Art
Slava Fine Art begins with the creative work of Slava Romanenko — his works, learning, observations and gradual search for a visual language of his own. We are creating a place where this development can be followed closely and without haste.
Slava’s personal portfolio is currently at the heart of the project. At the same time, we are building a clear and professional structure that can develop alongside him.
How it began
A Project Growing Alongside Slava
Slava Fine Art began to take shape in Kyiv in 2026. Its first purpose was to ensure that important works by Slava were not lost among occasional photographs and memories, but brought together as a coherent and accessible record.
The site does not present everything Slava has ever made. It brings together selected original works that show an independent idea, a distinctive character or an important experience of working with a material. They are accompanied by photographs, short videos and accounts of how the works were made.
We do not try to present Slava as an already established artist. It is more important to show the real process honestly: how his skills, interests, standards and attitude towards his own work change over time.

What You Can Already Find on the Site
Slava Fine Art does not surround the works with unnecessary claims. The aim is to present them clearly enough for visitors to examine the form, understand the context and form their own impression.

Selected Works
Each work has its own page with a title, year, materials and dimensions whenever those details have been confirmed. This keeps the portfolio clear and the authorship unambiguous.

Context and Process
For clay works, we add short rotating videos so the form can be viewed from different sides. The accompanying texts explain how an idea began and what changed during the making process.
- no invented quotations attributed to Slava;
- no decorative interpretation used in place of the work itself;
- full acknowledgement of the learning context.

We present Slava’s work without exaggeration and gradually expand the portfolio with new works and materials documenting his learning.

Our approach
Not Every Work Becomes Part of the Portfolio
Slava experiments, learns and becomes familiar with new materials, so not every work becomes part of the site. That is natural: a portfolio should not become a diary of every exercise and attempt.
We select works that contain an idea of Slava’s own, an interesting formal solution or an important step in his development. Study copies and works based on ready-made online examples remain part of the learning process, but are not included in the personal portfolio.
This selection makes it possible to show not everything, but the works that genuinely reveal how Slava’s interests, skills and way of working change over time.

An Original Idea
The portfolio includes works created from Slava’s own ideas. Study copies and repetitions of ready-made online examples are not published on the site.

Accuracy in the Details
The year, materials, dimensions and circumstances of a work are included only when they are known. Missing information is not guessed or filled in.

Writing Without Exaggeration
The texts help visitors notice the idea, details and making process. They do not add invented meanings or present each work as more complex or important than it is.

The Role of Teachers
Slava’s development takes place with the support of teachers and mentors. Their work is acknowledged in materials about his learning, including the guidance that helps him understand materials, recognise problems and continue developing his skills.
Future development
A Space for Creativity and Encounters with Art
Slava Fine Art begins with the personal portfolio of Slava Romanenko. At this stage, the project is built around his works, materials about how they were made, his learning and his gradual creative development.
At the same time, the project has been conceived as more than a collection of works by one person. Over time, Slava Fine Art may become a space for exploring subjects connected with art, creative processes, materials and the professional art world.
It may also feature materials introducing audiences to artists, sculptors and makers whose work is worth discovering. These publications and any future directions will develop gradually and will remain clearly separate from Slava’s personal portfolio.
